ATP Finals 2021: Sinner, Medvedev and Zverev’s SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

At the ATP Finals 2021 in Turin, Jannik Sinner (who took over from Matteo Berrettini, out due to an abdominal problem) dominates Hubert Hurkacz, who had passed him in the final in Miami in April, and at least gives himself a chance.

To catch the semifinal he would obviously have to win against Daniil Medvedev (already qualified) and at the same time hope for Hurkacz’s victory against Alexander Zverev. Difficult but not impossible. Sinner, after Berrettini, thus becomes the second Italian tennis player in history to win a match at the ATP Finals.

He will close the season in the top-10 of the ATP ranking, overtaking Felix Auger Aliassime. Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev, who in all probability occupied the Pala Alpitour at different times on Saturday, on the second day of the Red Group find themselves playing point-to-point in clash number eleven in the main circuit.

The Russian tennis player, who seems in total control of the matter for a set and a half, finds himself in the third. And despite 90% of first balls on the pitch he finds himself canceling even a break point at 5-5. However, Zverev does not take advantage of a mini-advantage of 3-1, clears a handful of set points at 4-6, but has practically time to respond at 6-7. The final 6-3 6-7 (5) 7-6 (6) is practically a logical consequence.
