Mouratoglou: “I went to Australia because Kyrgios needed my advice!”
At the press conference he announced that he wants to close the season early for family reasons and that he does not know how long he will still compete. Subsequently he declares through social media that he suffers from patellar tendinopathy in the left knee that has limited him during the last months of activity.
Patrick Mouratoglou, Serena Williams’ coach, has posted on her Facebook profile a video in which we see Kyrgios playfully deepen some tennis movements with Elliot Loney, with Patrick he was having a break from the training session.
Mouratoglou wrote: “Quick trip to Australia because Nick Kyrgios needed my advice. Elliot Loney thanks for taking over the coaching sessions – needed a little break from all that hard work. PS: next time avoid the tank top. Not my style!”
