World No. 10 Jannik Sinner revealed that going out to a dinner in Monte Carlo and later going out to a spot where you could see the whole city was the romantic thing he has ever done.
Sinner played at the Stockholm Open thus week and there he was asked about the most romantic thing he has ever done.
Sinner at first chuckled but revealed the most romantic thing he has done.
“Romantic… I’m not so good to be honest. That is a tough one actually. Romantic things? I went to a dinner once, it was great. We went to a Monte Carlo dinner. It was great, and after we went to, there’s like one spot over Monte Carlo, where you can see the whole Monte Carlo. It was very very good and romantic,” Sinner revealed.
Sinner suffered an early exit in Stockholm
No. 1 seed Sinner was hoping to win his fifth title of the season in Stockholm but he ended up suffering a loss in his opener at the tournament.
After a first round bye, Sinner met three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray.
Murray, who received a wild card into Stockholm, beat Sinner 7-6 (4) 6-3.
Sinner, who previously failed to make the Nitto ATP Finals, is now set to end the year ranked outside the top-10.
“I’m very disappointed with how it ended,” Sinner said.
“I’m going to close (2021) outside the top 10. It’s tough because I tried my best at the end of the year. I played a lot of matches.
“Winning Sofia, reaching the last 16 in Indian Wells and then winning Antwerp. Now a couple of first round (losses), it can happen.
“I had a clear goal in my head which I didn’t reach this year. That was going to the ATP Finals in Turin. It’s tough but I can take away a lot of great moments of the year.”
