Canadian tennis star Felix Auger-Aliassime has revealed that he would like to have power of NBA superstar LeBron James for at a least a day.
Also, Auger-Aliassime would love to have the accuracy of Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.
Curry is considered by many as one of the greatest, if not the greatest shooter in basketball history.
Auger-Aliassime was asked at the Stockholm Open if he could change his life with another athlete just for a day who would it be.
“I think basketball. To play that way they do, I mean, to have like the power of a guy like LeBron James. Or like the accuracy of a player like Stephen Curry. I think it will be amazing,” Auger-Aliassime said.
Auger-Aliassime, Frances Tiafoe named the same player
“I think it will be pretty cool to be LeBron James for a day. I love basketball, he is like my favorite athlete. I look up to him like crazy,” Tiafoe said in Stockholm.
Auger-Aliassime never pulled off a LeBron James celebration but Tiafoe has many times.
“There’s still a lot of tournaments for this season. But, man, it’s great. This is good to like see the crowd, enjoy what I’m able to do,” Tiafoe said at the US Open when asked about doing the LeBron James celebration and how would that carry over into next season for him. I feel like when I’m out there playing, I feel like it’s bigger than a tennis match, win or lose. I mean, it got me super emotional, I almost cried walking off the court. Not just even because I lost, it’s just the amount they showed me walking off the court. Losing a tennis match is almost irrelevant sometimes what the outcome is. I’m bouncing a ball going into the breaker, deuce or whatever in the third, and I have four kids saying, ‘Whatever happens, you are my inspiration, like that’s what it’s about.”
