Roland Garros 2021: Thiem and Andujar played the rally of the day

The Austrian tennis player Dominic Thiem, a past finalist in this tournament and, at least theoretically, one of the main candidates to win the tournament, made his debut today at the Roland Garros 2021, second Slam of the year.

However, after his triumph at the US Open 2020, Thiem is going through a technical, physical and psychological crisis. In the first round of the French Open 2021 the Austrian faced another clay-courts expert, Pablo Andujar.

After winning the first two sets thanks to a break advantage Dominic Thiem lost the third set and the fourth set. In the fifth and decisive set, the Austrian suffered his opponent: Andujar has in fact completed a crazy comeback, sensationally eliminating Thiem. So it came another big delusion for the Austrian player.

Below you can see what is probably the best point of the day and which is a candidate to be among the best of this edition of the tournament, crowned at the end of a tough, fantastic rally.

How about that 😍@ThiemDomi #RolandGarros
