It took Ashleigh Barty nearly two and a half hours to pass the American Shelby Rogers for 7-6 (3) 4-6 6-4 in the 3rd round of the Volvo Car Open 2021, WTA event in Charleston.
It was a very balanced and tough match for world and seed no.1; her opponent lived up to the situation until 4-4 in the third set. Ahseligh will face Paula Badosa in the quarter-finals.
