Just a few weeks ago and after an absence of over a year, Roger Federer returned to playing tennis. For the occasion, the Swiss tennis legend returned to the ATP tournament in Doha where, despite the long stop, he showed a good condition in the two matches played. Federer first won a very hard-fought match against the British Daniel Evans, a match won in the third set and full of great suspense with the eyes of all the fans in the world about the challenge. Federer showed he was in a pretty good condition also in the second match, a challenge he lost after a battle against Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili. The challenge saw Basilashvili cancel a match point to the Swiss champion on his serve and in the end it was the Georgian who went ahead and then, surprisingly enough, won the tournament. Federer is working towards the next matches, he is preparing for Wimbledon and the Tokyo Olympic Games, his real goals for this 2021 but Roger will also go to clay to try to fill some physical gaps. Roger Federer is an idol for many tennis players. They try to take his on-the-court talents and learn from them. But the Swiss Master is not only a tennis player now, but he is also a businessman as well. And now learning about his business adventures is the two-time Grand Slam champ, Garbine Muguruza.

I feel like he wants to be very involved in everything he does” – Garbine Muguruza explained in a recent interview with BBC Sport. Furthermore, she iterated that Federer has taken his habit of on-court success to his business ideas. According to her, whatever Federer touches becomes classy and successful. She said: “Everything he touches, he wants to be very successful and sophisticated.” Federer is slowly setting up his business empire. He has represented himself on the endorsements side with his iconic logo. And he has various investments in upcoming start-ups as well. One standout business setup of Federer has been his sports and entertainment management company, TEAM8. TEAM8 has now gone on to manage some important players, including Federer himself, Coco Gauff, and Juan Martin del Potro. The company is partly owned by Federer.
