‘Roger Federer won’t overdo anything if it doesn’t make sense’, says trainer

Roger Federer made himself known for his 2001 victory over Pete Sampras at Wimbledon in the quarter-finals. But no one could have imagined that he himself would have eclipsed the American’s record of 7 Championships wins. And yet it happened, in 2017, when he won his eighth title on English grass. His first victory took place in 2003, at the age of 21. His match with Nadal at Wimbledon in 2008 is considered by many insiders and fans to be the greatest match ever. With 20 Grand Slam titles he has made the history of this sport. And there are those who believe that the record can still be improved in the near future, despite the now advanced age and recent physical problems. While speaking with Rene Stauffer, Pierre Paganini made a startling revelation, explaining how Federer’s body has suffered significant degradation during this period – which is in sharp contrast to its condition during his 2016 injury hiatus.

Federer has been out of action since the Australian Open 2020

According to Pierre Paganini, Roger Federer always makes his decisions keeping one eye on the future. That, the 62-year-old believes, is why Federer is never inclined towards risky moves. “He will never risk his health,” Paganini said. “It is extremely important to him to be healthy in the second phase of his life. He won’t overdo anything if it doesn’t make sense. He’s very strategic and farsighted. The fact that he is highly esteemed by his fans is not only down to the player but also to the human being,” Paganini said. “And he will always be this human being as long as he lives.” Twenty-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer is returning back on the men’s Tour at the ATP Doha 2021. After his much-awaited return, Uniqlo has designed a new outfit for him. The outfit comprises a dark green t-shirt along with a pair of shorts, that are fairly light in color. Federer is the most successful player at the Doha Open, winning the tournament previously on three occasions in 2005, 2006, and 2011. The event is played on hard courts in an outdoor environment. The tournament will be played from the 8th of march and will end on the 13th of the month. After that, Federer may head towards Dubai for the Masters 500 tournament. Interestingly, the Swiss ace is the most successful player of the tournament, winning it previously on eight occasions. The ATP Dubai 500 will begin on the 14th of March and will end on the 20th of March.
